Session Objectives:

1. Examine how sustainability issues can be explored at different scales, connecting local observations to regional data.

2. Analyze a specific example of a place-based inquiry involving community scans and action planning, and identify protocols to adapt this model for their own teaching.

3. Reflect on opportunities to integrate multi-scale, justice-centered sustainability learning and action projects into their instructional practice.
