A virtual conversation on green chemistry education and its application to workforce development. Learn from Dow experts about the needed real-world skill sets and solutions to regional and global sustainability issues. We will explore Dow’s collaboration with Beyond Benign, an NGO focused on building capacity in Green Chemistry in education.
Join educators and partners from around the Great Lakes for a virtual discussion on green chemistry and its applications in addressing sustainability issues.
Connect with Industry: Participants will engage with industry experts to consider the importance of sustainability, workforce development, and the skill sets needed for future careers.
Deepen Understanding: Participants will gain an understanding of green chemistry and its potential applications using real-world examples relevant to the Great Lakes.
Link to Practice: Participants will reflect on and discuss strategies for integrating green chemistry and sustainability topics into their curricula, focusing on creating meaningful learning opportunities and building community partnerships.
