Sustainability Teacher Fellowship 2026-27 Cohort Applications open in December
The Sustainability Teacher Fellowship supports K-12 teachers across content areas in designing and implementing place-based, sustainability education using project-based and place-based learning approaches. Teacher fellows are supported through an annual cycle of professional development, connections with community partners, support from pedagogical and content experts, access to sustainability education resources, and biannual stipends and mini-grants.
Each year, teacher and student experiences focus on local sustainability issues in the Saginaw Bay Watershed. All educators working with preK-12th students in Arenac, Bay, Gratiot, Isabella, Midland, or Saginaw counties and surrounding communities are eligible to apply.
