Sustainability Teacher Fellowship

The Sustainability Teacher Fellowship supports K-12 teachers across content areas in designing and implementing place-based, sustainability education using project-based and place-based learning approaches. Teacher fellows are supported through an annual cycle of professional development, connections with community partners, support from pedagogical and content experts, access to sustainability education resources, and biannual stipends and mini-grants.

The 2025-26 teacher and student experiences will focus on climate change in the Saginaw Bay Watershed. All educators working with preK-12th students in Arenac, Bay, Gratiot, Isabella, Midland, or Saginaw counties and surrounding communities are eligible to apply.
